The Land

Where the Himalayas Meet the Vine.

Perched in the eastern Himalayan foothills of Kalimpong , West Bengal, Château Aarav is rooted in a landscape shaped by altitude, mountain air, changing seasons, and dramatic natural contours.

Our 2-hectare estate is intentionally cultivated on a modest scale, allowing us to work closely with the land and understand the character of every parcel. Here, the vineyard is not simply a place where grapes are grown—it is the foundation of everything we hope to create.

The cool mountain climate, fresh air, natural slopes, and long ripening conditions offer a distinctive environment for our carefully selected varieties: Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Cabernet Franc. We believe the greatest wines begin with a sense of place. At Château Aarav, our ambition is to let the character of the eastern Himalayas find its expression in every vine, every harvest, and eventually, every bottle.

A young estate. An extraordinary landscape. A terroir waiting to be discovered.
